PACEY
Supporting parents to access childcare
Choosing the right childcare can be daunting. Whoever cares for your child will have a huge influence on them during the most impressionable years of their life. The thought of handing over your little one to a relative stranger is likely to make you feel a little anxious.
With the stakes so high, it is understandable that parents get nervous about childcare.
However, high-quality childcare not only benefits children, helping to give them the best start in life, but it also provides peace of mind. It means that they can concentrate on work or their studies knowing that their child is safe and is being well looked after.
PACEY commissioned this film to help address the most common fears surrounding childcare, and to inspire more parents to make use of affordable childcare, thereby enriching their own lives and the lives of their children.
Because of the subject matter, we used established children’s book illustrator Rosie Venner as the artist on this explainer animation.
We created a backdrop of child craft and educational activities in PACEY’s brand colours and used the repeated motif of a storybook to tell the tale of how different childcare fears were overcome.

“CC Animation Studio were so lovely to work with! We felt like everyone took the time to really understand what we needed and wanted out of our animation. We have had so much positive feedback about the finished film that we have already decided to hire them again!”
