This explainer film is a short visual walkthrough of the NHS Long Term Plan commitment on community mental health transformation.
The film describes the principles of the already-published Community Mental Health Framework for Adults and Older Adults as per the vision of the Long Term Plan. It explains the roles of the different organisations that need to work together to develop these models and the central focus on the needs and involvement of patients, those that care for them and other experts by experience.

NHS-led Provider Collaboratives
These two explainer animations describe the upcoming changes in how mental health, learning disability and autism services will be delivered. The films outline, in simple language, what provider collaboratives are, explaining who will be involved in them and how patients and those who care for them continue to play an important part in deciding how mental health, learning disability and autism services will be delivered in the future.

We created both a professional-facing and an easy read version of this animation. To make this affordable for the client, we used the same visual elements for both films, with only small digital changes and a replacement voiceover.
