Dear Humans: An Imagined Letter from COVID-19

This is a project created by people sitting isolated in their houses, thousands of miles apart…

We hope that it will serve to bring people together, behind a common message.

The backstory

When coronavirus was first starting to hit the headlines in early 2020, we began to wonder what we as creatives could do to help. We noticed there was a really lovely poem being shared around WhatsApp and Messenger that took the form of a letter from the virus.

It was something that struck a chord with our whole team, so we decided to contact the author, Kristin Flyntz.

She accepted our offer to make it into an animation.

Since then, this video has been shared widely, and also featured on Bristol 24/7, Bristol TV and BBC Radio Bristol.
