It's important to know that you will not be alone. There is help out there not just to support and care for your loved one, but for you as well.

Often when someone is diagnosed with a terminal illness, the impact on those around them does not get as much attention as it should.

Hospice UK recognises that this is a difficult time for everyone and commissioned this film to help anyone who has had a partner or a close friend diagnosed with a terminal illness. It outlines the next steps to take in terms of self-care because we cannot effectively care for others if we do not also care for ourselves.

We would love to see this film shared more widely in care homes and hospice settings.
