ADVOCATE – Oral Health Care

One of the things we love about making explainer films and animations is the wide variety of things we get to learn about. In this video, we had to learn about how smart technology and smart new apps could help usher in a golden age of dental health.

The brief

As a society, we already have better teeth than ever before. But, by gathering the right data and applying the scientific method, we can go one step further.

For this film, our client wanted a clean white background filled with diverse and colourful characters.

The animation

Whenever we explain apps or big data, there is always highly complex information that needs to be addressed. Luckily, having made many films on these subjects, we were able to help ADVOCATE steer a course that left viewers excited by the powerful possibilities. At the same time, they were reassured that their data was being safely stored and used. The artist was able to do this with great use of custom icons and original characters created just for this project.

In particular, we loved having the opportunity to create a photo-book filled with memories showing, in smile after smile, just how our teeth are the best friends we’ll ever have.
